TOPS Challenger League

Welcome to the new Norwood Youth Soccer TOPS Challenger Program. We are now affiliated with the US Youth Soccer TOPS (The Outreach Program for Soccer), which is a community based soccer program designed to meet the needs of players with physical and/or mental challenges. Soccer is truly a sport for all children. If your player is not able to participate in the NYS Intramural or Travel programs, we offer the TOPS Challenger program which is designed to provide an opportunity to learn and play soccer in a safe, non-threatening environment. It is for players of all abilities aged 5-21 years.

We will be entering our 4th season of Challenger Soccer in the Fall of 2010 and it is encouraging to see how much the players learn and grow from season to season. We will begin our Fall 2010 season on Saturday September 18th. Registration is now open. Click here to register.

The season will run for a total of 9 weeks, ending on Saturday November 13th.  The weekly sessions run for one hour (time TBD) at the Coakley Middle School Fields. As always, check www.norwoodsoccer.com if the weather is in question.

The Norwood Challenger Soccer Program had a successful Fall 2009 Season. We want to congratulate the players and staff and also thank The British British Beer Company Norwood, MA for donating a Room and Time for their end of the Season Pizza Party, which was funded with a donation from Harvard Pilgrim Community Spirit. Challenger Soccer returns in the Fall 2010.
